    Well, let's just say that Born's quality has lost quite a bit along the way in addition to losing the original spelling of the brand. They are not as cushioned. My foot was slipping out as I walked. There were a few rough spots that I knew would rub up a blister on the side of my foot before I'd be willing to break them in.

    Love how they look and Born typically makes GREAT shoes. Top elastic banding seems very tight and squeezes foot - I am hoping it stretches as time goes on. I would second guess ordering "down" a size if you are a 1/2 size i.e. i typically wear 8 1/2 and ordered size 8 as recommended. I think i may have been better off ordering size 9 because they are tight.
