Born Roselie Wedge Thong Sandals - Leather (For Women)

I love Born shoes and wanted a pair of summer sandals that could comfortably sustain a good amount of walking around my city and when I travel abroad. These have initially chafed around my instep, which is probably both because my feet aren't yet ready for sandals but also because the shoe is wider than I expected. I will have to build up the area around the strap with moleskin, but think they will be fine after that. They are attractive, if a bit bulky looking -- but are lightweight and well-built, as are all Born shoes. I particularly like that there's a bit of a heel, which will make it more likely that I will wear them with cute summer dresses as well as jeans. ... These are just what you'd expect from Born. They are cute and I get lots of compliments on them. I find I can wear them with lots of things - jeans, capris, casual pants & dresses. The price, of course, was amazing! I find them very comfortable, though the thong took a little getting used to between my toes. I wear more "traditional" non-wedge/heel flip-flops all the time, so the slight slant of these means that there's a little pressure between your toes that you might not be used to.
