“comfortable, a little too wide”

“I love Born shoes and wanted a pair of summer sandals that could comfortably sustain a good amount of walking around my city and when I travel abroad. These have initially chafed around my instep, which is probably both because my feet aren't yet ready for sandals but also because the shoe is wider than I expected. I will have to build up the area around the strap with moleskin, but think they will be fine after that. They are attractive, if a bit bulky looking -- but are lightweight and well-built, as are all Born shoes. I particularly like that there's a bit of a heel, which will make it more likely that I will wear them with cute summer dresses as well as jeans. ...
