I ordered first in brown because I wanted a casual, everyday bag in brown though I much more commonly carry & wear black. On arrival it was *so* large, well-organized & less casual-looking (not what I'd wanted in an occasional brown purse), I returned to exchange for black because I could use for traveling (carry a book, make-up and jewelry) or office (small laptop would fit). However, the black was simply much less attractive: brass hardware looked better on the brown; top stitching was cream-colored and seemed to dull the entire appearance. I was disappointed and returned. I'd only recommend the brown bag.

This is a great bag with intelligent organization/compartments inside and a beautiful, rich, shiny leather outside. I just took the bag on an out of town trip and back...and it was wonderful. I particularly like that it is just the right size--large enough for my wide-screen laptop but not so huge that it cannot pass for a large purse/ tote too. Love it and would recommend it.

I use this for transporting my office necessities daily. My laptop fits nicely (15 inch)along with files, scheduler, coffee mug, "purse essentials", cell, and gloves. I find I tend to use this hanging on my arm, elbow bent, or hand held. It's not as comfortable on my shoulder. The only drawback I have found is that the center zip compartment is made of soft fabric, and the only rigidity it has is the leather where the zip is sewn in. This makes the center section less user friendly, and I usually don't use it at all, except as a divider for the main compartments. (e.g. I don't put stuff IN it). Smaller pockets on either end are great for little stuff, cell, pens,cards. Overall, a great bag for the price.

I can fit the contents of a purse plus a laptop and charger without feeling like i'm carrying a briefcase or tote bag. Just the right size. Leather is high quality and straps are a comfortable length.

This BORN purse is absolutely gorgeous... I love a big purse that will hold my many necessities and still look nice. The purse keeps my things organized and everything is easily accessible... LOVE IT!

I'm a one purse woman. Worried that this would be too big--it is a generous size--but it's been working well. Allows me to throw in items easily, run errands, skip little shopping bags, and look organized anyway. Most of all, it looks beautiful. The leather is gorgeous.

I use this bag everyday and I love it. It's big enough to fit in a file folder or two and a book to read at lunchtime. It's elegant enough to go well with business outfits and practical enough for everyday. The lining inside is very nice, soft and pretty. There is a large center zipper pocket inside, a smaller zip pocket in the wall and places for a cell phone, cosmetics, etc. It's the bag I've been looking for for years!

I would not use it...carry it...want it...I thought the leather nice color and liked the buckes, but..... it was sooooo heavy!
