Born Silara Leather Handbag

Just what I was looking for in a tote for work. It is the perfect size for documents and folders. It doubles at my purse for work so I'm down to one bag...nice. I haven't tried it w/ my laptop yet but I think it's gonna fit just fine. The black leather is just what I expected from Born...excellent quality. The inside is a lighter color (any yummy soft fabric) so it's easy to find things. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I'm using this bag for work. It's just big enough to fit a laptop. Love the leather and style. The lining is a beautiful, understated floral.

The center zip compartment comfortably swaddles my Macbook Air, while the external small pockets hold the power cord and other small electronic items (e.g. cell phone charger, iPod), all without that "I'm a laptop case" look. There is plenty of room for papers, book and/or magazines, and the outside zipper compartment is good for stashing one's boarding pass.

I bought to carry knitting projects. It is very stylish and high quality. A good value for the money

I ordered this because I thought it was a sensible work bag. It definitely is and can easily fit your laptop and papers. I realized though that I am not the person who can carry this bag. I need a little more fun in my bag still, so I returned. Still, nice leather, good company, good quality. Downside would be maybe the straps are too thin for some, but I thought they would be fine.

I bought this to use as a laptop bag / briefcase, and I like it for this purpose, but it does not have stiff sides like a typical computer bag. Instead, it is more soft and slouchy, like a conventional purse, but it is a tad big to use just as a purse, and it has a very wide opening with just one magnetic fastening (rather than a zip closure like most purses). The look, feel, and smell of the leather is very natural, to the point of looking hand-crafted. I like this aesthetic, but it's not for everyone.

This bag was simply too big for me, so I returned it. It is also quite heavy. Perfect for somone carrying laptop, files, etc.

I often carry books and/or folders or graphics. Now they don't stay in the car or the office, I have everything together. The strap keeps my wallet on the outside where I can get at it in a check-out line without opening up to the world..ditto cell phone. Beautiful quallity leather.
