I don't know how these compare to other Borns since I haven't bought many recently, but I can say that they fit my slightly narrow feet perfectly. So yes, I'd say they are a bit narrow, but not quite true narrow (AA) width. The 6s I got are marked 36.5. My feet are true 6.5 as measured; I often take 6.0 for sandals, and 6s in these worked out great. These may not work if you have medium to wide feet - the front of the sandals barely fit my feet.
Style-wise, the cross strap provide the much-needed additional support to thong style, and the subtle studs are oh so cute. On the 'rust' brown color ones, the silver studs are not too shiny - they are kind of antiqued/brushed silver, and that's how I like it. The footbed is pillowy and comfortable, as you'd expect from Born shoes. If you can find the right fit, I'd say grab these for warm weather days!

I have many, many pairs of Born shoes...but these are my absolute favorites! I always wear a size 9 and these are true to size. I do not feel they are narrow as other reviewers have stated (they seem to fit the same as all my other Borns) and the straps fit perfectly. They are much more comfortable than regular flip-flops too. I dress them up for work and wear them out on weekends... highly recommended!

I have a narrow foot and almost always a 9. The length is perfect and the width will only work for a narrow foot. The v strap for the toes fits well but the braided strap over the midfoot was a bit loose. It won't effect the wearability of the shoe and doesn't distract from the style. The insole is very comfortable which is typical for Born shoes.
