My tall thin teenaged son usually wears a men's small. I bought him the medium for wearing over other layers while skiing. He liked it a lot, and it kept him warm and dry on his recent West Va snowboard trip. Liked all the pockets too.

very functional with all the "bells and whistles" that actually function as designed...great pockets, really like the thumb hole cuff - don't need bulky gauntlet gloves to keep the powder out!
All in all - great jacket!

Great fit if you have an athletic build. I am 6 feet tall, 195 pounds, 46 inch chest, 36 inch waist and the XL jacket fits perfectly. First time in years I have gotten one to fit in chest & shoulders without having too much material in the middle. If you have a bigger middle get a bigger size.

Think of it this way: The jacket is great if you buy a 46Long suit for the jacket fit but wear trousers from a 42L suit. Also, I usually need a Tall size jacket to get sleeves that fit, such that they don't ride up to my elbows. These seem a bit long but fit when I am reaching/moving and with the thumbhole elastic cuffs you are covered for any activity.

Top rate design and construction. Looks like it will last. A lot of thought went into zippers, velcro closure, attachment, toggles. Plenty of pockets inside and out. Light but warm. Inner elastic belt so you can leave the front zipper open, pit zips make for plenty of ventilation.

On sale at 79.95 this was a fantastic bargain for a technical jacket.

the 4xl fit like a larger 2xl... Had to send it back. I can wear some larger 3xls but only could zip this if I gave up breathing..

Jacket is great. its very technical in terms of features and costs a third of fancier jackets, while looking better than 98% of them. for 99% of days on the mountain, you don't need all the 15,000/20,000 jackets anyhow. this is a steal at this price.

Really like this coat, and if it were an 4XLT (as opposed to 4XL) it might have fit my husband! If you have a bigger belly it might not fit, but if your just a real broad, tall guy it's a great score! Great length on the sleeves, and the coat in general, broad in the shoulders, and otherwise true to size (perhaps the hubby has a disproportionally large belly - lol). Also a big thanks to STP for making the return/exchange process super easy!
