    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have been looking for a Boulder Gear jacket to replace the one I have had for the last 5 years, which I just love. Unfortunately, I don't think this is the one. The outer material seemed very thin, not durable, and was noisy. I downhill ski and I can't imagine this would keep me warm. Despite being lightweight, the jacket was too puffy and bulky for my tastes. It did not seem to be made with as much attention to quality as my previous jacket.

    I watch my kids ski,so I needed a jacket that held up to standing in the cold. This jacket did that with just a thermal and shirt under it.
