I had been looking for a pair of Boulet boots for over year after trying them on at a retail store a while ago. I had priced them via special order and they were more than twice what I paid at Sierra Trading Post so when I had a coupon I had to jump on them. They are great boots that fit great right out of the box. They are comfortable enough for me to wear all day at my job where I stand on my feet and walk around a lot. I have a normal arch (not flat footed) and wear normal width shoes. They hugged my feet on first try and Ihave been enjoying them every since

I bought this to replace item #4161Y. I wear 7.5 B or C. This square toe boots fits me well. I love the detail the minute it came out the box. I was worry about the color but it turns out to be darker than pictured, which is a good thing. I tried it at home and so far so good. The Ariat sole (Item #4161Y) feels more comfortable, cushy, grip the foot better compare to this one, but I'd rather have a boot that doesn't squeeze my toes. I decided to add Dr. Scholl's foot bed to make it more cushy.

I love my boots, so comfortable and versatile...with jeans or dresses.

I really had my hopes up on these boots. They are very expensive (Not on STP) When I first opened the box, I was surprised at how BIG they looked. The sole sticks out at least 1/2" wider than the foot bed. Still I had hopes. When I first pulled them on, I could not believe that anyone could make a boot so uncomfortable. The Heel cup is cut WAY too low and cuts into the back of my heel. Also it protrudes through the leather covering in such a way that it will certainly wear through the leather in no time. It made the boots very hard to pull on because the heel of my foot catches on the top edge of the heel cup. STILL, I thought just maybe they could work...so I wore them around inside the house for an hour or so. By the time I took them off, my toes on both feet hurt so bad..I have sworn off EVER trying or buying another pair of Boulet Boots. Buyer Beware! There is a chance that I got a defective pair and am trying to get STP to pay return shipping because of that possibility. Go with a reputable brand. And no, they were not too small for me. If anything, they were 1/2 size too large as I had quite a bit of heel slippage. These were just funky all the way around.
