A great upland vest for pheasant hunting in any weather. I like the simple design with large pockets for shells. Front and rear game bags are waterproof and easy to clean. Fabric is comfortable, not heavy and stiff.

This vest caught my eye long ago. I snagged it before the price went up, just before hunting season. Glad I did. Nice vest, very well made, fits, feels and looks good. Very pleased at the sale price.

Lightweight - most of vest is very tight weave cotton, blaze orange on shoulders is a bit more open weave with larger thread. Whole thing beads water, but is a dry wax coating. Don't know what I would use to re-apply, maybe DWP spray. Blaze shoulders are double layered and quilted with no padding in front and single layered in back. Cut is large in sleeve opening, but could still be larger. I bought my regular size and can wear without a coat and with my bulky barn coat. It rides up slightly when I shoulder and swing my gun, but is not restrictive when empty. I wouldn't cary game on my right side until the left and back pockets are full, but then I guess it wouldn't matter too much if it did slow me down a bit when the pockets are full. Shell loops in pockets are elastic, but kind of tight for 12 guage shells.
