Bridgedale Active Light Hiker Socks - CoolMax® (For Men and Women)

I wear these socks under green Wellingtons (all-rubber boots) and Schnee boots (leather uppers, rubber bottoms). They're comfortable and offer good padding; they also wick away moisture.

Can't wait to get out on a long hike and try these out! So far they have been so comfy on walks around town. Great price, and well made!

Attractive colors, I chose the olive ones. However the description said "barely perceptible blemishes" and there were several long pulls of yarn hanging off them. I don't think they'll open up into holes, but time will tell.

I've wor these sock to work as a warehousmen walking on concrete for 9-10 hours a day. I've worn them hiking with a day pack for 8 hours over various terrain. I find the sock are very comfortable. My feet stayed dry, although my feet aren't as sweaty as some. I can't attest to the durability yet I've only had the socks for two weeks, I wear them as often as I can after washing. There appears to be no shrinking after machine wash and dry.

Great Socks, Very Comfy

Bought these to try them out. First use was just the other day when I spent the day walking around town in my hiking boots. First observation is that the upper weave is very open. It made me wonder how well they will last. The socks are very light and have a nicely padded sole. The sole appears well constructed. It will take some time to see how these hold up through some rough use in the Mojave on hikes. Overall, I am satisfied with the socks and believe they represent a very good value.

When washed together one sock came out smaller than the other

Currently deployed with the Army and the socks they issue are horrible. Since my feet are in my boots for 12 hours a day, the socks work great to wick moisture and keeps my feet from getting too hot while in a desert environment.
