I have several other pairs of Bridgedale socks; these seemt to be of similar contrruction. My other Bridgedales have performed exceptionally; I am sure these will as well.

i ordered 2 different pairs of socks they were both missmatched, i was able to get 2 pair that are a close enough match to keep them if it were not for the hassle i would have returned them, they are still good socks, they just dont match.lucky for me there will not be a fashion show where i hike.

These socks feel real good when they're on the feet, and the band that wraps around the calf is a stretchier material than the rest of the sock and therefore doesn't cling tight to the calf, which is great for wearing these socks for any length of time

I love bridgedale socks! They are always comfortable and functional. These will be great for summer wear....they are very light yet still cushy. There are these neat "vents" on the top of the sock to help dissapate heat! The perfect summer hiker! I am a lady who normally wears a women's 7.5, and ordered the small men's--a perfect fit!

I thought I would give Bridgedale another try based on the price, but I just don't like their material. I much prefer smartwool. I think it's the isofill I don't like and prefer more wool. My feet seem to move around in them, they get fuzzy after being washed, and the tops of these socks are incredibly thin and not soft. It could be a personal preference, I just don't like the Bridgedale product.

These were one of two pairs of socks I wore on a 13 day backpack in Yosemite. They seemed to be a little too loosely knit for my liking. I much preferred my usual Rohner Treking socks. With both I used thin inner socks as well. I have relegated these to day hikes with light loads and they work just fine.

Compared to Smartwool light socks, these feel fairly similar in the foot area but don't wick quite as well. The top or leg part of the sock, however, feels a bit too thin and wimpy for my liking. Can't beat the price though.
