    I wanted a pair of socks to keep my feet warm. I like to walk around the house in socks. These are well made socks. However, I wish I would have paid more attention when I ordered them. They are over the calf socks and take a little fussing getting them on staight.

    I have two other pairs that I bought from STP about three years ago. They're not close to wearing out, so at this price, I got two more pairs. I'm sold on the quality of Bridgedale, and these are great around the house, and on a cold day outdoors.

    Sent back. I have some Bridgedale socks that I got from Sierra Trading Post a year or two ago that I dearly love --soft, fit well, cushiony and durable. These were completely different material that felt coarse. Couldn't imagine a day of hiking in them.

    The pair of socks arrived with a very long run which had to be noticed by the person packing them. A return would have netted me 17 cents,a waste of time and energy for both parties. I've loved STP since before they started selling online and will continue saving money with them. As for this product they should burn the rest of it.

    The "slight imperfection" was an entire area of missing stitches that resulted in, for the lack of a better explanation, a hole in the sock from day one. Right in front of the heel area. It makes the socks very uncomfortable and pretty much useless. It would cost more to return them than I paid for so I'm stuck with them now.
