    They are seconds. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. This was one of the times I didn't. The heels were very thin and worn through on one of the socks after 4 hours of walking.

    I wanted a pair of socks to keep my feet warm. I like to walk around the house in socks. These are well made socks. However, I wish I would have paid more attention when I ordered them. They are over the calf socks and take a little fussing getting them on staight.
