“I got turned on to Bridgedale socks two years ago when I was given a pair for Christmas, so when I needed a pair of heavier, warm socks that aren't bulky, I tried these Summit Endurance socks. They fit the bill perfectly! I have a skin sensitivity to a wool directly against my skin, but the wool Summits were not scratchy or itchy at all. My feet stayed warm when standing in damp cold environment. Many socks keep feet warm during physical activity like walking or hiking. The true test is keeping my feet warm while standing in one spot for a couple hours without vigorous physical activity. The Summits are a superb example of Bridgedale quality and toughness. They greatly extend the comfort range of my favorite Ecco boots.”
