My son said he likes the socks. He often has to sit for awhile in a cold shop and they keep his feet warm. Said they're comfortable and wash well in warm water.

Needed something very warm in cold weather (ND) and these fit the bill.

I bought these for winter, but will probably use them more in the spring and fall, as other wool socks are better for keeping my feet warm.

Snuggly.

These hard to find extended size socks were a gift to my son and grandson...both wear a size 13 shoe. The sock hugs the food, doesn't bunch up and wicks away moisture. They love them.

I have used these socks for hiking and backpacking extensively and will continue using them...please Bridgdale, do not phase them out...you have a winner here.

I got turned on to Bridgedale socks two years ago when I was given a pair for Christmas, so when I needed a pair of heavier, warm socks that aren't bulky, I tried these Summit Endurance socks. They fit the bill perfectly! I have a skin sensitivity to a wool directly against my skin, but the wool Summits were not scratchy or itchy at all. My feet stayed warm when standing in damp cold environment. Many socks keep feet warm during physical activity like walking or hiking. The true test is keeping my feet warm while standing in one spot for a couple hours without vigorous physical activity. The Summits are a superb example of Bridgedale quality and toughness. They greatly extend the comfort range of my favorite Ecco boots.
