“I wanted to try these socks just to see what [$]socks were like and thought I could use them this winter with my boots. I purchased a medium knowing that they might come a bit big and I was correct (I wear a 7 1/2-8 shoe). They are warm and comfortable but do not have much elasticity for a knee hi sock. If you have large calves and/or are a man, I think that they would accommodate your needs. They are warm and comfortable other than that and I will wear them with my boots this winter. I hope they will not creep down with activity. I would be torn to recommend these unless your calves are larger than mine, but with the sale price, feel they are worth the cost.”
