Used these for the first time on a snow shoeing trip and my feet stayed toasty warm. Only down side was that my feet did get a little sweaty in there, so I wouldn't say the wicking ability is that great. My feet stayed comfortable in spite of this however.

I absolutely love these. Perfect fit. I typically like Smart Wool. These are just as good.

LOVE these socks! It's almost like a sock with a slipper built into the bottom. They are so cushy and comfy. I keep my house cool in the winter so my linoleum floors can be cold, but these socks are awesome to wear around. Haven't had a chance to go out and adventure with them on yet, but I think they'd be ideal for winter walking and maybe cool weather hiking (IF you have enough room in your hiking shoes as these are quite thick on the bottom).

I love wearing these socks during our cold Northwest winters. They are a perfect fit - not baggy, forms to foot arch. Thick but not too bulky. And my feet never get cold - wool (no itch).

As a forester, I go through a lot of hiking socks at work. Bridgedales have always been amongst my favorites. Wouldn't wear these in winter (not quite warm enough), but good for all the other seasons in the Pacific Northwest.

I first purchased these socks for Search and Rescue usage and for hiking. They were so comfortable and regulated temperature so well that I started wearing them with my combat boots for work. It's the first time socks didn't bunch up or were too big on my feets at the end of the day.

This would have been a good sock, except for the defective manufacturing process....lots of dropped stitches...will run into holes.
