My feet get very cold in the winter and these socks did the trick. Most women's socks under $20 are made of thin synthetic fabric. My feet are dry and warm and they aren't too thick for my shoes....just right.

I ordered 6 pairs and only two had noticable blemishes...near the toes. No one will ev... Read More

As with other Bridgedale products these are warm and not irritating to my feet. Also not too bulky for my regular shoes/clogs. just got these but previous Bridgedales work okay in all but the hottest weather as well as cold days

Bought around 6 pairs and 1st thing noticed that quality was very poor on the grey socks, unwearable, because webbing/thread (black) was not added for the cushioning in the heel, and more like ladies pantyhose/stocking type look & thickness. The dark blue socks were fine and cushion adequate for hiking & boot socks. However, one of the dark blue pair is much too tight in the calfs, especially the very top banding - uncomfortable. A real mixed bag of quality. So, I don't recommend buying the grey/gray color. Whoever inspected these did a very poor job. The 1st Bridgedales, Bamboo socks, that I bought were the best socks ever, and I have been wearing them daily for about two years, now. But these? . . . a real question leading me to not trust the brand anymore. I've been wearing the socks about a month, now.

I bought these thinking they would be a good hiking sock for winter. They are just not warm enough, nor thick enough. I will probably wear them more in the summer.
