Customer Reviews Of:
Briggs & Riley Baseline Spinner Suitcase - Expandable, 27”
Closeouts. Beloved by business travelers, Briggs & Riley's 27" Baseline expandable spinner upright suitcase seamlessly melds durable construction with intelligent technology. The ballistic nylon exterior withstands years of wear, and the Outsider handle system keeps the interior completely flat to eliminate wrinkling garments.
Reviewed by let it snow from california on Wednesday, September 25, 2013I am a big fan of B&R -- well-made, tough, and well-designed. all with an amazing warranty. I bought this bag based on the description of a 'garment-securing panel', but discovered that there is just a big zippered pocket on the inside lid of the suitcase, not an actual tri-fold suiter. it's still a great bag, but just limited for beach trips.
Reviewed by Johnny the Traveler from Switzerland on Tuesday, July 9, 2013I've only used it once so far. It's very spacious and robust, lots of things easily fit in there which makes it tempting for one to put more in there than is actually allowed by most airlines, therefore beware of that. The wheels are absolutely fantastic & hold up well. The only thing I was somewhat disappointed with are the leather handles on top and on the sides which already showed wear when they arrived and were somewhat discolored as an effect of the foam taped to it to protect it. Nevertheless I'm quite confident it's going to hold up for a long time and I absolutely appreciate its weight. I ended up paying somewhere around $300 after applying a coupon and for that price it's a perfect piece of luggage. Just note that the suitcase on display here is not the one from the newest 2012 Baseline collection but one from an older generation.
Reviewed by AZ Lilly from Paradise Valley, AZ on Tuesday, June 25, 2013Top quality, great color, with many practical/useful pockets . . . but it didn't have the suiter feature I needed so it went back.
Reviewed by SCShopper from South Carolina on Saturday, June 15, 2013This is a suitcase you know you can depend on. If anything does happen, there is a great guarantee that will insure repair at no charge. We have a local repair shop that handles suitcase warranties and they say Briggs & Riley are the best.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is because it did not include a garment hangar - which are supposed to be included with all Briggs & Riley suitcases. This particular case is wider than your average case, but still handles with ease.
Reviewed by Gill from Illinois on Thursday, May 9, 2013I did not test this suitcase yet, but it seems better constructed than any other I have ever owned. Zippers and the material used on the exterior are high quality and the bag is really big. Briggs & Riley's "Simple as That" warranty covers damages made by airline, which is a big plus for me.
