Briggs & Riley Baseline Upright Rolling Duffel Bag - 26”
Closeouts. Briggs & Riley's 26" Baseline upright rolling duffel bag represents the best of both worlds: The capacity of a duffel and the ease of a rolling suitcase. The two-section design features one large duffel section with garment-securing panels and one flat packing section.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by AZ Lilly from Paradise Valley, AZ on Sunday, April 6, 2014Briggs & Riley gets 5 stars for construction and design and zero stars for quality control .. . . the Briggs & Riley products, as I understand it, are sent directly from Briggs rather than from STP and Briggs sent a Transcend Duffle rather than the Baseline Duffle that was advertised - the 2 are not similar. I returned it - STP customer service was excellent as always, but I really wanted that Baseline duffle which is now sold out.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Amy from Indianapolis from Indianapolis on Sunday, April 6, 2014This piece of luggage comes from the Transend Collection (NOT the Baseline - like advertised), but it has the prettiest red sheen and to my surprise is very, very, deep. I have not used it yet but I am a heavy packer and this suitcase should hold all of my shoes and clothes for a weeks vacation very easily. It seems relatively light, despite how big it is. I am excited because I have NEVER seen a piece of luggage that was so deep and I think that makes my purchase very worth while.
If I had a complaint (and this is minor compared to the positives), the only complaint I would make would be that the additional compartment which is separated from the larger section (recommended for shoes or to separate items) is on top (not on the bottom like in the Baseline Collection) and also that it is not a spinner. Otherwise, I am very happy with this purchase and for the price, would recommend its purchase to everyone who wants a bag to check. Get a Briggs and Riley if you can - it is the only luggage company that will fix/replace your luggage if there is damage.
Reviewed by Ali from Colorado on Friday, June 21, 2013Great Product at a fantastic price. Briggs & Riley products offer excellent quality in construction and design. STP's closeout price was amazing. Would buy another if in stock.
Reviewed by Kathleen from Texas on Tuesday, April 23, 2013We purchased two of these suitcases for our upcoming trip to Norway. The size is perfect for airline regulations and everything, including our big, bulky waterproof boots, fit perfectly inside.
Will definitely get a lot of use with these. They are perfect!
Reviewed by Rabbit from Groveland, CA on Thursday, April 18, 2013I like to use packing cubes in my luggage. This bag allows me to pile one on top of the other with lots of room. It also has a zippered flat area for special items. Has a great handle, large sturdy wheels, and is a good size for the 50 lb. limit on most airlines. Very happy with my choice.
Reviewed by English Shepherd from unknown on Tuesday, April 2, 2013The Briggs & Riley 26" Upright Rolling Duffel is one of the finest pieces of luggage ever designed and may very well have the finest guarantee of any luggage ever produced. Strong and relatively light, this duffel has exceptional features in every aspect of its design. I purchased the Briggs & Riley to replace another manufacturer's "larger' duffel. The Briggs & Riley easily accommodated everything that I would have packed in the "larger" old duffel and it did it with better overall access. The really fantastic thing, though, is the LIFETIME GUARANTEE for Briggs & Riley luggage. My old rolling duffel would sag between the wheels when fully loaded, and if you are dragging a sagging, no longer rolling, duffel with two weeks of clothes around on the cobblestones of Belgium, you are experiencing travel purgatory. On my first trip with the Briggs & Riley, it was obvious I had left purgatory behind. The difference might be compared to driving a 1968 full size Buick with no shocks or springs ( old rolling duffel) and zipping around in a new AUDI R-8 (Briggs & Riley Duffel). And if the Briggs & Riley ever fails, its guaranteed. Not even the AUDI R-8 has as such a guarantee.
