Briggs & Riley Transcend Expandable Upright Suitcase - 27"

This is my second Traverse line of luggage from Briggs & Riley. I've had the 24" luggage for a few years, and love it, but needed something larger for an upcoming trip. The 24" is great for 4-5 days, so this will be a great size for a week long trip. The warranty on this is great. I haven't had to use it, but it's there should something ever go wrong with the luggage.

We have been buying Briggs & Riley suitcases for the last 10-15 years. We are replacing our heavier pieces only due to airline weight restrictions. This is our 3rd Transcend piece we have bought in the last 3-4 years. The quality is wonderful. They are guaranteed for life and hold up incredibly well for airplane travel.

Product to replace Tumi case(which is still in service)Overall happy with bag, first came crushed by U.P.S. Promptly replaced by Sierra Trading. What worries me is that it could be so easily crushed, being a suitcase. my Tumi bags have lasted over 15 years, and have hard side walls. and have always held up why did this crush in the first place even being in a cardboard box, it leaves me with doubts. lightweight construction cuts both ways i guess. not a very stylish bag my tumis still look razor sharp .I probably would buy this bag again though

I bought this bag primarily for my wife, since she will be travelling internationally for work regularly in the next couple years. I looked at a lot of brands and read a lot of reviews, and settled on the Briggs & Riley. I purchased the 24" and a carry-on at a luggage specialty store nearby, but the price on this one was incredible (less than 1/2 what I paid for the smaller version). It is a well-made and beautiful bag, and has a lifetime warranty that cannot be beat. The pockets are well thought-out, and the external handle allows for flat packing at the bottom of the suitcase. It is also lightweight and a good size to allow for ample storage without being over the weight limits. Overall we could not be more pleased with this. It is a huge improvement over our department store luggage (Atlantic) we replaced.
