I went to a specialty running/walking shoe store where they put you on a treadmill and video record your walking manner as your feet hit the treadmill. They recommended these shoes,which I purchased approximately 2 years ago. It was time for new ones, so, when I saw them on Sierra Trading Post's site at SIGNIFICANT savings, I ordered them. I am VERY happy with them.

They were comfortable all day, even on the cobbled streets, and stable enough that I didn't come close to turning an ankle. When I saw them available in Narrow, I immediately ordered, as I don't get that chance often. Pair #2 is just as good! I use these at home for everyday wear and walking on uneven terrain along a river. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with this shoe.

I also have very high arches and Brooks are the only shoe I have found that provides the support and stability I need. (And I have tried on every brand I could and always buy Brooks.)
