Shoes are true to size and very confortable right out the box. Wear everyday at work (heart surgery) and stand in place for hours! Excellent shoes, great support.

These are great shoes. They are light weight and yet sturdy. The fit is great! I purchased a pair for a friend who wears a narrow. She is so happy to get a shoe that fits. They also look good on the foot.

I am not a runner, but, needed good walking shoes. I went to a specialty running/walking shoe store where they put you on a treadmill and video record your walking manner as your feet hit the treadmill. They recommended these shoes, which I purchased approximately 2 years ago. It was time for new ones, so, when I saw them on Sierra Trading Post's site at SIGNIFICANT savings, I ordered them. I am VERY happy with them.

I wore a pair of these all through Spain/Portugal last year. They were comfortable all day, even on the cobbled streets, and stable enough that I didn't come close to turning an ankle. When I saw them available in Narrow, I immediately ordered, as I don't get that chance often. Pair #2 is just as good! I use these at home for everyday wear and walking on uneven terrain along a river. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with this shoe.

I ordered 7.5 and usually wear a 7 since I like my running shoes to have extra room in the toe box. I also have very high arches and Brooks are the only shoe I have found that provides the support and stability I need. (And I have tried on every brand I could and always buy Brooks.)

Brooks makes the best overall running shoes whether you are using them to run or walk, they beat all the other brands, hands down. Over the years everyone in our family has tried other shoes, but we all agree that Brooks gives you the best shoe for the money, and the best shoe for your needs.

An ex of mine bought me my first pair of Brooks from Sierra Trading Post a couple of years ago. I've been devoted to this brand since then. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn for any activity. I'm a nurse and on my feet up to 13 hours a day and I don't get the same leg and back fatigue when I'm wearing Brooks. I just got this pair in the mail and I don't want to take them off. I recently bought a pricier pair of Nikes at a store in the mall and I can't tolerate wearing them very long. I won't buy Brooks anywhere else but Sierra Trading Post because they are $60-$80 more in the store.
