Verified Buyer Reviewed by JoeltheAlaskan from Alaska on Thursday, April 17, 2014Onmy third pair of Brooks Cascadia, great shoes. Fit wide feet better than most. Great on the trail.
Reviewed by timber_cruiser from Maine on Thursday, April 3, 2014Brooks quality at a great price. I would recommend ordering 1/2 size up. After getting the sizing correct I ordered a second pair.
Reviewed by UteRunner from Utah on Wednesday, April 2, 2014I transitioned from the Brooks Ghost to these shoes and I love them. They fit a little bit tighter through the toe so some might want to order a 1/2 size bigger than your normal running shoes. Most of my runs are on trail and road so these shoes are perfect for me.
Reviewed by rakeop91 from Colorado on Tuesday, April 1, 2014I am enjoying the cascadia7. They have handled every condition on the trail & roads , from snow to mud
Reviewed by Cape Cod Kayaker from Boston on Monday, March 10, 2014My daughter runs half-marathons and recommended Brooks' shoes. I thought these were a half-size small when I got them, but because the material is stretchable, I put shoe trees in and after a couple days, they were fine. Have only used them on the street since the trails are too deep in snow right now, but I do not think this would be a good shoe for rocky trails or those with a lot of hazards like exposed roots - particularly if buried in leaves. The stretchable material is likely to give too much in a misstep and lead to a sprain or fall. That said, this is my second pair and they are fine for the right trail or on the road.
Answer They would do the job, but you may want something that is waterproof too. Item #5145X , the Brooks Adrenaline ASR Gore-Tex® Trail Running Shoes are good waterproof option.
