Brooks Element Vest (For Men)

I use it for running when it is a little chilly outside and it works great. I thought it would be too heavy, as the materials are not as thin as other running jackets I have, but it was perfect.

I wear size Large and when I bought size L of this vest it was too small for me. XL was just fine. Go one size up unless you want it to wrap around you and restrict your motion.

This is a very nice lightweight barrier against the wind. I recently wore it at an adventure race, where it preformed well during trail running, mountain biking, canoeing, and some high-ropes/challenge course activities. If you've got your aerobic motor in high gear, this should be about all you need for an outer layer. The only thing I don't like about the vest is a lack of hand pockets at the waist. There is one pocket, inside the zipper at mid-chest. It's small, but large enough to accommodate an mp3 player, cell phone, map, ID, or other small necessities.

very nice vest, perfect for running vs. a jacket that can be too warm. Took it out for a 5-miler in 44 deg weather, with some spitting rain. Kept the core dry and blocked the wind (20-mph gusts) very well. Very good quality and looking forward to breaking this out frequently this winter.

Great vest, fit is borderline small but just barely there, if you are between sizes go up. Construction is excellent, light, comfortable. Not quite as stretchy as I was hoping but still very useful.

Exceelent item for runners. Ordered large and whilst it fits, could be a bit longer in the body. Overall good quality, 9/10

I have an older Brooks vest with a mesh back. I was concerned this model would be hot but the back of the vest is breathable without being mesh.
