    The Ghost has become my fave. Tried the Defyance (too clunky, noticeably heavier) and the Trance (why do my knees hurt?). Your results may vary, but the Ghost is my go-to-shoe; enough cushion for my longer runs (> 5 mi), yet light enough for fitness testing (1.5 mi).

    I work in running shoes too soften the impact to the knees that a concrete floor gives. These are the second pair of Brooks that I have bought and so far the best. Very supportive and light weight.

    Due to an injury, I don't run, but I walk 20+ miles a week and still prefer the support and cushion of a running shoe. I've been using a Nike brand for years with great results, but decided to try Brooks because of their excellent reputation. After a couple of weeks (40 + miles) I am very pleased with the results. I did add a set of gel insoles that add to the cushion, but probably aren't necessary.
