    i tried these on at a running shoe store and found them here for much less $. they're a good pair of shoes, comfortably fit an orthotic. i think they're just a bit narrow in the toe box (i bought the wide width), but certainly one of the wider running shoes i've been able to find, without the heel becoming too wide. seems like a sturdy, comfortable shoe, but it is ugly. :)

    I have worn Brooks before for running, I usually order a full size up -- when I saw these only came in 1/2 size up and narrow width -- I took a chance 'cause it was such a great deal. I am soooo glad I did. Fit perfectly, wearing them to work -- very comfortable, and I think getting the narrow width gives a better fit for a narrow heel -- although I don't wear narrow widths in regular shoes, many running shoes fit me better in narrow. These are great -- and nice looking.
