These shoes are like walking on clouds! They fit perfectly and are one of the top running shoes i have ever worn. I hope they keep producing the same exact shoe year after year.

This is the 2nd pair I've had in this style. Love the feel and fit. No rubs or blisters first time out running a 5k. Used to wear exclusively asics, but these feel better on my foot.

This was my first pair of Brooks shoes - women's Glycerin 9, which I purchased on clearance from a local outfitters store. Before this pair, I mostly wore Asics and Saucony both for running and walking, and I never had a problem with them falling apart. But only four months into this Brooks pair, the treads began to pull off the bottom of the right shoe. I did not run in them and only wore them casually a few hours a day a few days a week to run errands. They still looked brand new, including the treads with minimal treadwear, when the first tread began to tear off.

I contacted Brooks, and first they said these shoes are for running and not walking. What a joke! Like running over rocks and different terrain wouldn't tear them up faster than wearing them on a carpet or other flat surface. I understand how your feet hit the surface differently when running and how that would affect treadwear, but should anything really cause the treads to rip away from the shoe when they're basically new? Maybe working in a junkyard with sharp objects everywhere? Then Brooks told me the shoes are only meant to last 4 - 6 months. I went ahead and filed a claim for a defective item on the Brooks site (along with the photo of my new shoe with torn tread), and they replied: "When used for its intended purpose, Brooks footwear has an expected life of 300-500 miles or 4-6 months. By this measure and your described pattern of use, it's about time to update your shoes." Then they offered me a 25% discount on another pair. NO THANKS. I'm guessing my shoes got about 100 miles before the tread tore.

I have worn Asics, Saucony, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and other brands, and none of them have ever fallen apart like these Brooks. My Asics and Saucony shoes I wore for over a year with custom orthotics, and I only replaced them when the treads were slightly worn down as expected--even before I could feel they had worn. Based on the poor quality of Brooks and their poor customer service, I will never buy another pair. After searching the reviews, I noticed others had similar complaints about them falling apart easily. These Glycerin 9's weren't even worth the clearance price for four months of gentle casual wear.

I should have looked on STP for Brooks earlier. I've tried Brooks ravenna, ghost, radius...trying to avoid the heavier, clunkier shoe...but with my high arches and slight runners knee I need the extra cushioning. And this shoe is not clunky at all. I have a slim foot but I have never purchased a "narrow" and I was concerned I would have to return it, but I've had no issues with the comfort in the least bit. I used to wear the Ghost but now find the Glycerin is THE shoe for me. After 30 miles I recommend changing out the insoles with SuperFeet as you get more out of your shoe.

This is my favorite running shoe. I run a few 10Ks a year and about 20 miles a week, and these shoes last me about a year. They are very comfortable and have good support. I highly recommend them.

Great shoe, provides a lot of comfort for general runs. Does run a 1/2 size small.

I bought these because I currently have a pair of this brand in a ladies 12N. The last pair has been great and so far I am pleased with these also. I have trouble finding a sneaker in my size so I am happy to get the these with a good price to boot.

Fantastic shoes that make running really work for people who have high arches and thus other issues. Great support for pronation and breathable and light weight. Have made running again a real pleasure and will continue to use for cross training and other intense activities. Brooks are super and really glad to have found these.

I use these for Triathlon and other jogging things, they are the best for my jutting big toe. They feel worn in as soon as you put them on.
