The stitching on the zip pocket was sewn improperly and so the pocket wasn't sealed. Thankfully, it was easy and painless to return and rebuy.

Size is right on, I wear a medium and they're true to size. The little pocket in the back is just big enough for my car key fob thing when I go run. I own three pairs, that should say something.

Thus, a nice hole in the pocket right off the bat... not a gr8 first impression nor what I experienced in the past from Brooks quality! Called Sierra Trading Post & got a second pair sent (gr8 Customer Service BTW) and it arrived with no holes, but the sizes run a little large as I wear a large normally, but it was too big so really I need a Brooks medium. Lastly the back pocket is too small to fit any kind of phone, but it will fit keys or energy bars, etc and the indide is lined with a coating, so it's water resistant not waterproof. Plus, it has hand pockets on the side which isn't mentioned in the ST specifications! Both pairs are being returned. .. hope this helps everyone :)

Webpage didn't do this color any favors either as on my monitor and iPad it shows up as more Grimace from McDonald land than blue.

Fits the BillReviewed by KY Ranger from Illinois on Monday, November 18, 2013The most crucial feature of any good running/workout shorts is a well constructed, comfortable inner brief and this pair has that. The waist band is wide enough to comfortable and fits snuggly, but not overly so; the length (5") gives enough coverage for modesty, but not enough to be a bother and the zip closure back pocket is large enough to accommodate a key whether it be a house key or a hotel card key.
All in all, a good pair of shorts, the only reason I didn't give five stars is because I have not had them long enough to speak to their durability.
