Brooks Motion Pants (For Women)

I bought these for my morning walk, when it's too cold for shorts, but too warm for fleece. The fabric wasn't quite what I expected, but I really like it. It doesn't cling, breathes well and doesn't wrinkle. I need a little pocket for my keys, and it's hard to find athletic pants with a zippered pockets these days. The look is definitely a cut above regular sweat/athletic pants. I can wear these around town, no problem, and they are great for casual travel. The waist is really comfortable, though the toggle, while flat and attractive, gets tangled in the wash and takes a bit of practice.

Bought these for cold weather running, but they just don't seem "right". The drawstring is odd and adds bulk exactly where I don't need it. Are just a tad too short (I'm 5'8, 130#). Like the weight of the fabric. Have yet to actually wear them, though.

Fitted at the hips and straight down the legs, without too much extra fabric around the legs. They also seem to resist wrinkles. This is my second pair. I receive many compliments on them.

These are the lightest weight pants I own - great for coverage in hot weather. I also like them for trial running, and xc skiing (sometimes with a thin layer under) because they dry so quickly. They look good, a little low slung but not annoying. Note there is only one tiny pocket in the front, which works for an ipod but not much else. I normally wear a S but had to return for a M in this item (I'm ~125 and 5'7") due to the hips and rear cut. The material feels a little unnatural, doesn't really stretch, but now I find it comfortable.

would only recommend them to really trim friends for work outs.

I wanted a comfortable pant that I could wear to work and then for my 4 mile walk without having to change. These are great. I love the black pair so much I got the two tone gray and black pair as well as the cropped pair. Wash well.

Running or walking

I love the fabric and fit. The only problem for me is the length. It is a too long for my 5'4" body.

I like the design concept of these pants, but the material isn't right for the cut -- too small and tight with no give. I am normally a size 4, 5'6", marathoner, and these in a "S" were both too snug through the butt and rise, and too short in the length. They do look great on but I can't really move freely in them and wouldn't use them for any kind of workout. Maybe order a size up... unfortunately I passed the exchange deadline.
