-Came back to Brooks after a ten-year hiatus and glad I did.
-I average 15-20 miles a week on pavement and trails - this shoe performs well on both. Well-cushioned, lightweight, excellent traction.
-Recommend ordering a half-size larger than you normally would for this model.

This is my first experience with the Ravenna 2, after three pair of the first generation Ravenna. The toebox seems a bit wider (true to width) when compared with the narrow fit of the Ravenna. (Good or bad depending on your preference.) The length is comparable to the Ravenna and shoe is as comfortable and durable as ever. Good shoe and great buy on closeout.

I am a mid distance runner. The Rav 2's met my expectations of a great workout running shoe. I'm a mid-foot striker and the Rav 2's provide good shock resistance. No pronation problems, no shin splints, no back or knee pain. A pleasure to work out with. They have a good feel for the road and offer moderate stability. Only complaint and it's minor - toe box a smidgen too tight but don't notice it while running.
