Brooks Summon Running Shoes (For Men)

I like Brooks shoes because the width is narrower than other shoes. Although a regular D width general fits my feet okay, a slightly narrower fit is perfect.

I am on my third pair of Brooks Summon. These are the only shoes I've used to train for the Boston Marathon 2011. They are very simple with not too many bells and whistles. Yet they have responsive cushioning, very lightweight and affordable. My training, especially marathon pace runs, have been fast. I have really improved using these shoes. I'm using them for my first Boston Marathon.

Great value, terrific fit, lightweight, and super comfortable. Thinking of buying another pair!

general workout shoes

Great shoe. Wears for everyday use, power walking and working out at the gym.

I am a long-time recreational runner (a half-hour every weekday, consistently, for 25 years). Since I don't run far, I always bought the lowest-priced Nike Airs or Asics from my local discount shoe store. My mom talked me into a pair of Brooks not long ago. They are much more comfortable, and they seem to last significantly longer. I'll always wear Brooks from now on. And when I buy them at Sierra Trading Post, they're as affordable as my local cheapo shoe store.

Second pair of Brooks I have had, and I am pleased. I run outside all year in N. Minnesota, and these provide great grip on snow covered roads.
