I pretty much exclusively wear Brooks running shoes. I LOVE the Axiom because it is soooo light weight for a trainer. I decided to give the Switch a try because the weight of the shoe on Sierra Trading Post was listed as the same as the Axiom...and there was a great sales price on them:) I do like the Switch, but it IS NOT as light weight. In fact it is .8 oz. heavier than the Axiom. I still like the shoes quite a bit, but will only wear them on runs up to about 8 miles. Anything longer, I want the lighter Axiom. I'm more of a fanatic about the weight of a shoe than most people though.

The only thing I dislike about this shoe is the length of the tongue, which is oddly short leaving the top of the shoe a bit uncomfortable. Not to the point where I wouldn't wear them, just a tad annoying. Otherwise, a really great shoe.

I love the fact that these shoes have a wide toe bed; a lot of running shoes make my toes go numb, and these are comfy right at first. I have to say that I was initially disconcerted by the fact that the sole cushion seems to end right at the junction between the ball of my foot and my toes. But once I ran in them, I found that I felt supported and comfortable.

I teach school and due to a bad knee I wear running shoes b/c I'm on my feet all day and the cushioned heel helps the knee. Brooks is one of the 3 brands that I buy. So b/c I don't run in the shoe (that's what it is made for) I did not give it a 5 rating b/c that could be deceiving. I like the way Brooks feels on my feet but they do run a 1/2 size too small. I usually wear a 71/2 but have to buy an 8 in Brooks just like I do in Asics.

I bought this shoe to use for rehab after foot surgery. I underpronate, but have flat feet, which is unusual and makes it hard to fit shoes. Plus my feet are now two different sizes and shapes since surgery.
These look great and feel comfortable. I am unable to run so I can't speak to hard usage, but they are working great for everyday walking support, recumbent bike and therapy exercises.

I love Brooks Adrenaline, but decided to try this model. So far so good, though I did have to order a half size larger than my Adrenaline shoes -- the toe area is just a little bit different. My foot tends to roll in, and these are offering pretty good support....and the price was great!
