Chose between these shoes and another well-known brand of shoes. These won hands down!

I had to go through 8 different types of running shoes back 2 years ago to find these & I loved them and have been wearing them ever since...after two pairs now, I tried to buy and they are discontinued. Now they are up to a Trance 8 and both 7's & 8's don't work for me. [...] I have back troubles and other injuries and every other shoe I've tried in the past two months has given me issues. Fortunately I found this shoe in my size on another site and purchased 2 pairs...but I would love it if Brooks brought these back.

I am training for my first half marathon after running for 10 years. I love these shoes. They are comfortable for pavement or trails. They have the right amount of support where I need it.

I use them for walking at a fast clip, walking dogs and the gym. I actually bought two pairs - one for outside and one for the gym. These are the best fitting shoes I have had in nearly three years. They are so comfortable I end up wearing them into the evening at home whereas before I couldn't wait to get home to get them off of my feet. They are roomy, cushy, breathable and comfy. Not for wet, snowy Idaho winters but perfect for spring, summer and fall.

This is what I've been trying to find. I need help with pronation, balance, and extensive physical rehabilitation. I have new needs from a shoe, and this pair have become my new friends. After a long search, thank you to the Brooks shoe company!

I have a foot that needs a lot of stability when running. These are the first shoes I've owned that have had both stability and cushion all in one. Awesome shoe. Hands down best shoe ever.

I was looking for a stability shoe for treadmill running. Though these sounded like they would fit the bill, the forefoot is too wide, creating some slipping within the shoe and resulting foot pain. I was really disappointed, as this took several wearings to develop and so the shoes can't really be returned. I typically wear Asics or Mizuno, which seem to run narrower even in the "medium" width. Keep in mind that these will be a bit wider.
