“I wear this as a top layer for cold weather runs. With glove liners under the hand covers and nice base layer shirt, it kept me warm on a very cold (wind chill of 4 degrees) ultra last fall. The hand covers are a little bit of a struggle to get off and on when running, but they keep my hands so warm that I have to take them out once in a while. I prefer hats, so I only use the hood under a hat if it is wicked cold, but its fine as far as hoods go. This shirt rocks.”
