Superlative Customer Service. from STP

It was a pleasure to review this knife recently (see "D." 's review). So, this review is all about STP's superlative and FAIR handling of an issue that required 'return for exchange' of this product. It is probably very unusual for any higher end Browning knife to have ANY fit, finish, design, or production quality issues. This has also been the case for mid-level Browning knives I've seen and handled. When the B. Skinner arrived there was a "step" mismatch where the jigged bone scale meets the SS beveled bolster. STP quickly sent out a proper replacement without flaws. A knowledgeable service person correctly processed an unusual accounting procedure and then issued a $5 gift credit towards future purchases. STP has always been efficient and more than fair when engaged in corrections and problems. They are quick to respond by email, chat, or telephone. Hats Off to STP.
