Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“I just got the jacket and used it to deer hunt the last day of the season in 17 degree weather. At this temperature the jacket material made more noise than I expected when I moved. Surprised to feel a little bit of wind getting through the sleeves even though the wind was mild (3-6mph). I wore a base layer of Polar-Tec expedition micro-fleece and a micro-fleece crew neck and was comfortable with the jacket in relatively cold temperature. May opt for goose down jacket insert for really cold hunts in Wisconsin. The x-change system makes that convenient. I am pleased with the quality and features of the jacket. The jacket seems to breath well. I was a little surprised with the weight, but not a major concern. Have not experienced rain or snow so I can't speak to water proof qualities, but being Gore-Tex I suspect it will work fine. I would recommend this to others looking for a versatile hunting jacket.”
