Browning Lightning Grade III Bipod

This bipod works alright, but I have problems adjusting the legs in and out. I doubt this will last many hunting seasons.

This is a good bi-pod for the price but it is a little light for heavy use. It will do the job but I wouldnt buy two.

I plan to use the product for elk hunting. I carry my rifle on a safari sling so the Bipod is handy. I can just flip the bipod down,extend the legs and have a seat. Just that fast I'm ready to aim and fire.

I have had one ever since them came out And I love it, Its light weight easy to use. and gives you the edge you sometimes need. LOL

Bought this for my grandson. Once we figured out how it worked everything else was great. It fit his A-bolt perfectly and was easy for him to use. Poor instructions kept this from being a five.

I bought this tripod because of the 360 degree swivel mechanism (ball on top of the bipod). Which worked flawlessly, and as intended. But the bipod also has the option of adjusting/leaning (on the ball) 45 degrees to the right or left. It was this left to right motion that made me return this product, due to the fact that it couldn't support the overall weight of the gun. I found my self fighting the bipod to keep it straight and level. The gun kept wanting to lean to the right or the left! It was so annoying! If you had the ability to tighten the ball down so it would lean right or left, I might have given it 3 stars!! Save yourself some time and headache and avoid this all together (unless you enjoying looking at a 45 degree angle through your scope!) I decided to buy a Harris Bipod and couldn't be happier! Although it is more expensive. Sometimes what you pay for is what you get!!

Without propper instructions and an overly stiff ball joint, I thought it was going to break before I figured out how to work the mechanism. Pay double for a Harris may be a better option.

Mounted on my varmint rifle...works great.
