    I ripped open the pockets and added wide bottoms to hold ammo for waterfowling. It is big enough to wear over even my waders and rain gear and although not camo or waterproof it will work for me.

    the snap on "belt loops" are not belt loops. they are there to hold the buckle and strap when not in use. the buckle is poorly made and will not stay shut so i do strap them down, which makes the vest perfect. alternatively you could cut them off. i like the look of this vest, and i get + comments on it all the time.
