To summarize, the pants are high quality material with a great design concept with exception to the proportional dimensions of waist to thigh (leg). Unfortunately the thighs on the 2XL are about 6 inches too small and the waist is about 12 inches too large. I can't imagine what a person would look like having a waist large enough to fill the 2XL pants while also having plenty of room to layer in the thighs! These pants run a full size too small in the waist and the thighs are a full 3, possibly 4 sizes too small. I am dissapointed as I really like the material and design of these pants. I have the jacket and love the side ventilation zips, would prefer pit zips but side zipes are a giant step forward in hunting apparel. Unfortunately Browning has continued this sizing problem with their pants into this years new Hydro-Fleece series as well. I currently wear Browning's old Hydro Fleece pants and their Big Game pants, both of which have suspender tabs that allow me to make lightweight bibbs out of them!

I bought this product to use as rain/snow hiking pant because they are 3L goretex & because they have great pockets. these pants seem very well made & would be good for slow walking or sitting but definitely will not work as hiking pants for me(I run up & down mountains) & these pants don't allow much leg flexion range of motion. unfortunately i still haven't found a good goretex cargo hiking pant.

READ THE REVIEWS. BOUGHT XXL LIKE RECOMENDED. I have 4 or 5 inches to spare in the waist but the legs and butt are still to tight. But only when I move. i will be sending them back.

Browning has a serious design problem in their measurements for American men in their pants. I BELIEVE THEY ARE STILL USING THE STANDARD G.I. STATISTICS OF WWII 5'6" 145 LBS. This is the second AND LAST pair of Browning pants I will try and I only tried these because they were a gift!

I ordered a size bigger so I could layer under them, they were still so small I could not get them above my knees.
