I started wearing Browning Kangaroo boots back in the 80's, but switched to Brand X over time because of the cost difference. Last Fall I bought these boots and a pair of 10 inch Brownings because they were on clearance. I wore these boots on some upland desert bird hunts and mountain elk hunting. The fit was perfect (1/2 over my size, based on Sierra recommendation). The boots are beautiful, and are holding up well. I did walk in some water up to my ankle with no leakage. Also, since I like the boots so well, and, since they are so great looking, I now wear them to my office. The only thing I would like to see different is the same boot with a glove leather liner like earlier models had. They were cooler and a little more comfortable. Plus, moisture is not a big deal in the Desert.

The length/size is right on, I am typically between a 9.5-10, I went with the 9.5 in a medium width which is what I sometimes get. I found the medium width to be a problem with heavy socks, but it seems to be breaking in alright and works with thin socks. Not recommended for cold weather but the waterproof seems to be holding up.

I love this product. My father and brother have an older version of this boot which is why i wanted a new pair. They are just as good as the old version. I have worn them for hours on end walking all over the place and I love these boots. I have had several pairs of boots, from Corchran Jump boots to casual doc martens and the Browning boots are my favorite by far. The leather has taken no time to break in and another reviewer mentioned a gloss on the leather. That was not the case with my boots, they looked just like kangaroo leather should. the feel and wear so far have been wonderful. I am going to use these fishing, hunting, and around town. They are my go to boots now.

The pull strap on the boot tore the first day, and Sierra said to order half size larger because they were running small. That is wrong they are true to size or maybe even a little larger then normal. I wear 10.5 and I ordered the 11. They were very big on me and because of that they blistered my foot. Would not recomend!!

Really disappointed in what I expected from Browning as to the quality...these are not as the old boots that had a definite oil finish, soft, flexible and rugged. These boots are thin with some kind of semi-gloss finish probably won't take oil...left boot fit perfect-right one half size to small. Would not wear these hunting at all! sending them back..

I have had my Browning 7 inch boots for about 4 months and wear them every chance I get. Nothing negative to say about the quality and comfort of this boot. I ordered an 8 1/2 M but received an 8 1/2 W, which seems to fit very well. They are a tad bit long, but then I have short stubby feet. They feel about a half size too big, but if you have normal or long toes, the should fit perfect. They give me the best latteral support I have ever experience with any footwear. They are comfortable, light weight and required no break in time. They are tough, yet supple. I have since bought a 10 inch insulated version and expect they will be every bit as good as my 7 inch boots. If so, I may purchase the 10 inch un-insulated version and will never have to purchase another boot for many, many years. No better boot at any price.
