    I posted an earlier review and, in fact, the sweater is wool and not cotton (as I noted). The sleeves, shooting patches, and neck are cotton. Sorry for the mistake.

    I bought the zip neck compared to the full zip based on a review at this site. Great sweater! Reactar pad insert not bulky and should help for repeated shooting such as skeet, trap, or sporting clays. Gun mount sweater area has medium traction which helps with non-rubber butt plates. I purchased it to cover the metal buckles on my suspenders so they don't scratch my gunstock. Works great! Warm and breathable. Arm twill areas are fine on medium brush, but probably not built to endure heavy briar patches. My 2x was perfectly snug and doesn't bind on gun swing or mount. You have to wear a belt with pouches for birds and shells, but that is more comfortable for me anyway. Perfect for skeet and hunting in the colder months to layer clothing. One caution: It is 100% cotton and not wool, as noted in the description. I immediately bought a second one.
