I ordered these bibs the day after the season ended here in northern Montana. I haven't hunted with them yet, but taken them on a few hikes. I am ~5'8.5, and 150 lbs. The Small fits perfectly. The front bib panel only comes up half way up the chest (Not all the way to the top). Some might not like that. (I'm fine with it. It's not exactly the type of item you wear without a shirt on underneath.) Huge zips all the way up the sides, with storm flaps (ie buttons + flap of cloth). This means when hiking straight up a mountain to get a clearer view of those elk, you can unzip and keep some of the buttons closed, creating huge ventilation. Feels great. Warm. Quiet. Pockets are possibly a little small. No belt loops.

I wore the XPO's out the other day in 27 degree weather, snowing, and wind blowing at 10 mph. I was sweating by the time I got back to the house. Unless you are in the arctic I don't see you getting cold. These are by far the warmest set of bibs I have had. The XPO's fit true to size and are not noisy at all. I like everything about these bibs and would highly recommend.

I use these at work picking flowers in frost and cold wet and windy weather and they are warm and dry.Not even any sweat.I would have liked to be able to adjust the ankles with some velcro or snap studs because they were a bit long and they dragged in the mud.

Haven't had these in the field yet. Purchased for Nov deer in SD. Would be too warm for Oct elk in NM. I'm a medium waist and 30-inch inseam. The mediums fit about an inch long, just enough extra room to move with pants underneath, and soft insulation layer means can't slip boots through, but that's fine. Soft. Compress well.
