Browning

Nice weight for Quail Hunting-so many coats are over-insulated. I've worn it out with my wife and didn't get the skunk eye so we both like the way it looks. I took off in it the other day with my camera and it worked great. Plenty of room in the pockets for snacks and waterbottle which kept that kind of thing out of my camera bag.

I use them for fishing and hunting and couldn't be more satisfied. In the winter months here in North Dakota it is bright when the sun beams off of the snow, these glasses do a great job keeping me from squinting. I also have a narrow face and the temple pads hug nicely to keep the glasses from moving.

Super comforatble. I put it on and didn't want to take it off all day. Very soft, breathable and light.

Better than I expected. Top notch soft shell, good insulation. I have not yet tested the waterproofing. Great deal for a certified gore-tex jacket.

Bought for my son for stand hunting, he likes it, wears to cold weather ball games ect., anywhere need light jacket with warmness of heavy coat

Something to have around...

It's a great jacket I bought it to line my XPO coat. It runs small and the elastic doesn't adjust so if you don't upsize it when you raise your arms the coat will rise up your midsection and stay there when you put them back down. Whlie zipped of course.

Great parka, warm waterproof, and light for its size. Lots of pockets, quality material. Now for the things I don't like. Generally minor things, lots of pockets for storage. Great right, well for me its almost too much, you have to really search to find stuff you stuffed in the pockets. The hood while nice has a zip cord (around the hood) to secure it or make it smaller, thats fine. The bottom of the hood near the neck has a button to secure it aound your neck. A"button" the parka has velcro all over it, the cuffs, most pockets, etc. Browning used a button for the hood. Try fastening a button in freezing rain with gloves on in a layout blind. Bad choice. Again overall a great coat/parka, just seems like they missed the boat with a few minor things.

It seems a little light on insulation. It is a good medium weight coat. It fits well and feels good. I like the velcrow flaps on the pockets. They would be noisey for hunting, but they are secure. I got the coat for an all around outdoor use. I think it will work well for temps from the mid 20's to the 40's. I'm not sure what I think of the waterproofing. It's not Goretex.
