Reviewed by topaz from oakland, ca on Tuesday, January 15, 2013i got this mug not expecting it to be able to sit upside-down or roll around in a pack or commuter bag; i wouldn't trust anything but a classic thermos or water bottle to do that. but this is better than the usual travel mug with the little slide top. when the button on this mug is not pushed down, liquid really does stay inside even if the mug ends up on its side for a few minutes. the seal seems to work. if i accidentally drop it in the car when it's not open i don't have to worry about leakage. and it can sit upright in my front bike basket and stay warm, yay! the lid is a bit plastic-y smelling but hopefully that will wear off. we've only had it for a week or so so i can't speak to durability.
