5.0 out of 5 stars. WOW!Reviewed by Roy from Idaho on Monday, August 3, 2015Great optics for watching big game animals 100+ yards away. Light and small enough to pack but yet not cheap light.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Outstanding OpticsReviewed by Groy from Nor Cal on Saturday, November 8, 2014I have all the German scope/bino/range finders on various guns...but was looking for something more packable while clear enough for trophy elk hunting, having read up on this scope thought I'd give it a try.
This Eterna is a remarkably clear scope at roughly 1/3 the cost...we consistently dialed into the largest bull while the other party members were fiddling with the focus or looking for their sun shade. This amounts to a big advantage considering we hike for hours to get roughly 5 minutes to find pick and shoot. The Eterna lens is a little larger than the comparable German scope, light gathering, we easily dialed into the fine details at 1500-2000 years...the sun shield was pricelessly effective. Our German models requited attaching the shield.
Ended up with a 330-350 class bull though I'm trophy hunter...
I don't know much about the other products but I now know you can pay a lot more for a spotting scope that won't get you on target nearly as quick .....you will notice details much quicker and later into the evening with the Eterna.
