Reviewed by Outdoorsmen from Wisconsin on Wednesday, May 15, 2013I bought this compass as a motorcycle companion thinking I could get a quick fix on the direction I was heading. Unless I'm "doing it wrong" you have to press a button on the side to get the directional reading to change. I thought it would work like the digital compass in my car and change the reading as you change direction. My mistake.

Answer This compass is not intended to attach to a car. It is a hand held compass for use when hiking or backpacking. It comes with tether so that i can be hung around your neck or tied to your pack.
