    Thought this would be a great cookware set for camping. Used it on my gas stove and everything sticks to it despite using oil in the pan! Maybe I could have looked into the quality before purchasing a little better. Just seemed like a good deal. Or it could be that my stove is just too powerful.

    This is a decent stainless steel cook set, so it's a good value at STP's price. However, for about $25 more you can get a far better set from GSI or MSR- one that has an extra lid, slightly larger pots, rings for the pot holder to clip onto, and a metal pot holder, instead of the cheap plastic one included in this set.

    Just got back from an Adirondack weekend car camping, and we used this set for the first time. Looks good, solid construction in the pan and two bowls, but the "handle" was cheap and melted quite quickly. The frying fan on its first use developed a hot spot and a scarred surface with medium heat from the cooktop. A bit disappointed, but will still be useful.

    I have been looking for a stainless steel pot set for a while and one with something to secure the lid. I only car camp, so weight was never an issue (if it's an issue for you this cook set is not for you...). It seems satisfies all my needs, but I have yet to cook outdoors with it.
