5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome quality!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Thursday, August 11, 2016Got a love it when you get something in the mail and it's totally awesome. Love the solid forge and how light it is. Really like having a product made in the U.S.A the case is also really nice. The salty snap really secures the knife into the holster. My go to backpacking knife!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great valueReviewed by SierraWanderer from Oregon on Friday, August 5, 2016A very good purchase when considering price vs quality. Very sharp out of the box, and a nice grind. The traction coating does help, especially since this knife doesn't have a real handle. As another reviewer stated, the specs are wrong for this model (143). I believe the specs are for a Paklite 140, which does have a blade under 3 inches. In addition to a blade just under 4 inches, this model weighs a tad more, about 2.8 ounces without sheath. Nylon sheath is very useful for my purposes.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great knife but check your local laws and dimensionsReviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Tuesday, July 5, 2016I just received two I ordered as ship to store delivery. Knives came in quickly and match the Buck quality I expect from past experience.
However, my two samples do NOT have 2 7/8 inch blades. The dimension is more like 3 7/8" which could be the difference between a weapons charge and not in certain jurisdictions (such as Colorado).
These are Model 143 as painted on the blade. I ordered these for their under-3" blade length - which proved untrue. I'll still keep them but these can't be carried legally where the under-3" models can go.
